What’s This Website About?
www.Roc111.com is our official channel website. This is a way we can connect to people in the Rochester Community. We can let everyone know what we’re up to and it’s a way you can tell us about a good idea for a story. We’ll also post news about upcoming events and links to things you can see on the channel.
I know a really cool person or have a story idea. How can I submit it?
Easy. Just email us at: Info [at] Roc111.com
I submitted an idea a while back but you guys didn’t cover it. Can I submit it again?
We get lots of stuff thrown our way. Don’t take it personal if we don’t cover it. Feel free to submit it again, especially if there are new elements to the story.
Can I submit my own videos for air on the channel?
Feel free to send us a tape or DVD but you should know these things:
- It needs to be interesting and well produced. This is not public access. Don’t send your kids soccer game or karate class. We are interested in short art films, interviews, well produced music videos and the like.
- We may edit down your footage.
- You must own the footage and all rights to it as well as any music you used. If your video has other people’s stuff in it then don’t bother sending it.
- We don’t pay to air videos and we can’t return your tape
If these things haven’t scared you away and you think you have some quality content on your hands then feel free to send a Tape (dvc-pro or mini-dv) or a DVD. We will contact you if we are interested in airing it. Send to:

Note: We at times ask for submissions like family blooper tapes or animal tricks. Things like this don't need to be well produced. These guidelines are more for longer pieces and shows.
How can I submit my music to Radio TV?
Easy. Go to the Radio TV Myspace page and download the submission form (click on the huge Radio TV logo!). Or our local page on this website here. The form says that you give us permission to air your song. Then mail that and a copy of your cd to the address below. Remember all songs MUST BE CLEAN EDITS that are radio friendly!

I can’t figure out how to use your channel.
It can be a little tricky until you get the hang of it. Then you’ll be whipping around like there’s no tomorrow.
Along the bottom are “Branches.” Each branch is a category. You can scroll left and right with the arrows on your remote.
Above the Branch you’ll see a list of shows. Each show has a description to the right. If there is no description then it’s a sub-branch, which you can enter by pressing “Ok/Select.” It will then give you the list of shows.
Why does it take time to load the channel?
Video On Demand is a fairly new technology, which allows you to choose what you want to watch. A normal channel has one continuous video feed running, which you access when you tune in. Our channel has hundreds of videos waiting on a video server, which you can start and stop any time you’d like. Consider the short delay a little thinking period while it gets the video ready for you to watch. (**Tip- the first video you select takes the longest to start, after that it’s all gravy on the table)
